The SanShin Tuner presents a user-friendly interface, equipped with noise filtering capabilities that facilitate the tuning of three strings without necessitating any configuration upon activating the app. When a SanShin string is plucked, the corresponding pitch is displayed on the panel, highlighting whether the signal is high or low for each individual string.

Function Description

• Calibrate Piano Sound: By selecting an open string, users can calibrate the sound to match their SanShin, with Piano Sound A4 set to 442 Hz.
• A4 Frequency Adjustment: Users have the flexibility to choose from a range of 418 to 452 Hz for adjusting the A4 string frequency.
• Precision Tuning Scale: The app features a precision tuning scale of 10 cents for every sub-bit. A blue line indicates the starting point for open strings, while a green arrow signifies accurate pitch. Should the pitch deviate beyond a sub-bit, the arrow will turn white.
• Visual Feedback: The comprehensive functionality provides visual cues to inform users if the pitch is correct, indicated by green or white lighting. The lighting arrow on the scale allows for easy adjustment of the string as needed.
